Kelli L. Roach founded Roach Law Group in 2004, known then as the Law Office
of Kelli L. Roach. Her practice focuses on corporate representation,
acting as outside general counsel for many businesses.
Ms. Roach emphasizes business counseling, transaction negotiation
and documentation, dispute resolution, litigation, litigation
management, and proprietary information management, including
trademarks and trade secrets. She also provides management
and employee training in many areas, including corporate
governance, Sarbanes-Oxley issues, trade secret protection,
sexual harassment, and other labor and employment issues. |
Ms. Roach represents companies of all sizes in complex commercial
litigation and disputes, trademark and trade secret disputes,
employment matters, acquisitions and other business transactions.
She has litigated cases at the trial and appellate levels
in federal and state courts in various jurisdictions,
and has managed complex litigation in jurisdictions throughout
the United States by retaining and working in conjunction
with local counsel.
Ms. Roach advises clients and corporate boards of directors on business growth
and decline issues, vendor and customer relations, dispute
resolution, and risk analysis. Ms. Roach has advised
and represented corporations and other entities from
formation, during day-to-day operations, and through
winding-up activities and proceedings.
In the Oil & Gas
industry, Ms. Roach represents independents in pre-litigation
dispute resolution and contract negotiations. She assists
clients by counseling them in day-to-day business issues,
and in managing land acquisitions, regulatory requirements
and filings, employee relations, and outside professional
service providers. Ms. Roach also negotiates joint operating
agreements, confidentiality agreements, vendor agreements,
exploration agreements, and damage agreements with partners,
prospective partners, leaseholders and surface owners.
Ms. Roach began her legal
career with the international law firm of Fulbright & Jaworski LLP in the Commercial Litigation and the Intellectual Property and
Technology sections. She has also practiced as a solo
practitioner and with smaller firms, including Gay, McCall,
Isaacks, Gordon and Roberts, prior to founding Roach
Law Group.
