Joel B. Hudson

Joel Hudson's practice focuses on representing companies of all sizes in all
types of litigation, including complex commercial litigation,
construction litigation, breach of contract, asset recovery,
premises defect, personal injury, wrongful death, sexual
harassment and ADA compliance. Mr. Hudson has litigated
cases at both the trial and appellate levels in both federal
and state courts in various jurisdictions across the state
of Texas. |
Mr. Hudson’s transactional experience includes negotiating
and preparing all types of business contracts, including
asset purchase agreements, licensing agreements, partnership
agreements, commercial leases and construction contracts.
He also assists clients in handling day-to-day operational
matters, such as corporate entity creation and conversion,
contracts for the sale of goods and services, employment
agreements, non-competition covenants, confidentiality
agreements, and various types of compliance filings.
Mr.
Hudson was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He earned
his Bachelor
of Arts degree from Texas Christian University, where
he was Secretary of the Student Body, a Resident Assistant,
an Orientation Advisor, and an Army ROTC scholarship
recipient with Top Cadet Honors. He earned his Juris
Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan University School of
Law, where he was an active member of the Moot Court
Team, Order of Barristers, and Student Bar Association.
Mr.
Hudson is admitted to practice before the U.S. District
Courts for the
Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas,
the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and
he is a member of the Dallas County Bar, Collin County
Bar, Texas State Bar, and American Bar Associations.
Mr. Hudson is also a volunteer attorney for the Plano
Legal Aid Clinic and an avid soccer player.
